Dick Cochran founded
COMStar in 1994 to bring “people skills” to “technical nerds” in
high-tech organizations. Being a recovering “nerd” himself with

the importance of good people skills.
As business consultant,
an interpersonal skills trainer, and a public speaker, he combines his
business experience with his knowledge of people skills to make
individuals, teams, and organizations more effective. Whether it’s

building stronger Marketing teams at Hewlett Packard, Dick infuses his
programs with a wealth of knowledge, a touch of humor, and a passion to
effect positive personal change in class attendees.
His unique
approach blends the perspective of the proven business manager with the
dedication of committed trainer. His training programs empower every
